On the 12th of September some students from year 12 and some from 13 went to Moscow fun run. It was taking place around the Cathedral of Christ the Savior, Red Square, and the St Basils Cathedral. Our group had to run 10 km. They were thousands of people, which were running even more than 10 km.
In the Moscow Marathon they were a lot of elderly people and they were actually running better that young people. Me and Kathya were two girls in the group and we were running together. I think that it was a very beautiful place to have a Marathon. I never participated in Marathon before, so I think that I undertook new challenges. To tell the truth I wasn’t running very good but l was trying to. Sometimes I was walking. I didn’t take a very good place at the end of the marathon and didn’t get any medal, but still I think that I showed perseverance and commitment in the activity.
Other six outcomes, which weren’t present, are:
v Increased their awareness of their own strengths areas for growth
v Planned and initiated activities
v Worked collaboratively with others
v Engaged with issues of global importance
v Considered the ethical implications of their actions
v Developed new skills
